When this incident occurred at Martinsville, I said the exact same thing that you just described. Kurt is definitely a talented driver and Champion, but sometimes his recklessness has cost you. At Kentucky in 2013, Kurt drove onto the apron (Which is not a good idea at Kentucky) and lost control of his car and then slid right into you and wrecked you. That hurt your chances for making the Chase and it was a shame to see your car get destroyed from a bone-head mistake by Kurt. And here at Martinsville, he didn’t attempt to stop at all when you slowed down for Kasey, and he crushed your car. It was too early in the race to be that aggressive on pit road by Kurt. This was the second time in a year that he ruined your day. You could have been a jerk and gone out there and turned him into the fence, but instead you bumped him and showed displeasure without putting his safety in danger. In NASCAR, competitors won’t respect you if you let them take advantage of you. You showed that you won’t be taken advantage of and by staying on the track you also showed that the 2 team never quits. Keep making us fans proud to root for you. Go Brad and Team Penske!

I would also like to say I am a true Ford fan and owner, so I enjoy watching you race and do well every weekend. That said, I must admit that this article really turned me off and as a result has me questioning my ability to continue to pull for you. If you think that Kurt intentionally plowed into you (complete reckless abandonment) after your error while exiting your pit and didn’t care about the harm to your equipment nor his, that’s just crazy. I completely agree that no one is going to give you anything. As a matter of fact, you are responsible to go out and TAKE what is your on any given Sunday. You have proven that you have both the talent and desire to do just that. Here is my point. Do what it takes to be successful and you will be successful. Make no excuses for giving it your all and taking what is yours. As you push the envelope in your pursuit of Greatness, you will undoubtedly have errors and mistakes will be made, accept your misfortunes and learn from them the same as you accept your successes and learn how to continue to experience them. Don’t take you mistakes and blame the severity of it on someone that unwillingly got involved in a mess you started. I hope you take this as it was intended and as always, good luck on Sunday.

I know your always on the look out for this psycho, and its a shame you have to deal with this crap but be extra aware of him. Maybe a face to face would help.
