During the double headers races rain delays could be a factor (’cause we know that it always rains in Michigan!). Also, while I think that Wednesday nights would be great for TV Ratings, I would have to agree that it would cut into attendance at the track. Most of us don’t have weekdays off and if the race is any distance away, you’re talking about at least one extra day for travel. We can take vacation days at certain times of the year, but not every fan has that option! I do like that you kept the two races at MIS (Go Wolverines!)

I like the idea of the double headers, but only during The Chase. I like the idea of moving around the location and changing the date for the All Star Race and the winner getting the pole at Homestead. But I would also like to see the Chase races changed up each year so the final isn’t always at Homestead as well. The Chase should be comprised of every type of track including the plate tracks. Alternate the fall Dega and July Daytona race every year to fix the lack of choices for plate tracks, same for rc’s. Even with double headers only in The Chase you would still be able to add some tracks like “The Rock” back to the schedule as well. And like Brad suggested, Road Atlanta.

Like Brad said a lot of the stuff could stay West. Then maybe 2020 … NASCAR gets little Australian flavour. With road course race on one of the SuperV8s tracks. Those now sure if Sprint Cup could handle the tracks. SuperV8s drivers dodged kangaroos on track while back not sure the year.

Except for two changes. Darlington instead of moved up should be moved into Chase. Road coarse in Chase I agree. Watkins Glenn maybe. Better I feel if Road America or Austin Texas road course added. Having historic Darlington and Daytona out of chance doesn’t feel right.

I have only one criticism of your New Schedule: Sprint Cup drivers SHOULD and NEED to drive in the Nationwide Series. It takes great drivers to raise the bar for the “kids” driving Nationwide. Most of which made Larson’s and Elliott’s win(s) spectacular was not as much the win but WHO THEY BEAT. These kids were jacked because they beat Bush and Harvick… no doubt the excitement would have been there anyway, but hey, beating Bush, Harvick or YOU makes it SPECTACULAR.

Now Brad, I hate to bring this to the table, as I sit here and watch the Nationwide Series at Richmond, but where the hell are you?

I think it takes a lot of guts by the Sprit Cup guys to run Nationwide due to the fact that they might get beat by a youngster…
