NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski is a proud Michigan native whose professional career – as both a driver and team owner – is supported by companies with a significant presence in the state of Michigan. From competing for legendary team owner Roger Penske with Penske Corporation (headquartered in suburban Detroit), to piloting Ford vehicles on the racetrack, to partnerships with Michigan-based companies such as Cooper Standard and Horizon Global, Michigan ties run deep with Brad and have been an integral part to his success. It is natural, therefore, that Brad combine his numerous connections within the state of Michigan, as well as his support of veterans through his Checkered Flag Foundation, to promote jobs for veterans with Michigan companies. He is doing just that with Pure Michigan Talent Connect.
The Pure Michigan Talent Connect is the state of Michigan’s official job site that connects job seekers with job opportunities around the state. Veterans are encouraged to identify themselves as “veterans” when they create their account because employers are specifically seeking this talent pool. The state of Michigan is especially dedicated to veterans and their spouses, providing individualized employment services. Combine an extremely attractive cost of living, four Great Lakes, 11,000 inland lakes and over 36,000 miles of rivers and streams, and the perfect spot for veterans to work and play is Pure Michigan.
