Four drivers will advance to the Championship 4 for the season-finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. But while Brad Keselowski enters the Playoffs in fourth place, there’s no guarantee he’ll make the final four—that, the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford driver must earn on the track.
Thanks to two race wins and four stage wins, as well as his final point standing during the 2017 regular season, Brad earned 19 points going into the playoffs. Martin Truex Jr. used four race wins and 18 stage wins to take the top spot with a 53-point cushion.
Brad is in the best standing out of any Ford driver, edging Kevin Harvick by four points. Unfortunately, Kes will not be joined in the Playoffs by his Team Penske stablemate, Joey Logano. He will, however, be joined by one of his Brad Keselowski Racing proteges, Ryan Blaney, who drives the Penske-powered Wood Brothers No. 21 Ford and will race full time for Penske next season.
The 2017 Playoffs open next week at Chicagoland Speedway.
